INVISALIGN

Invisalign braces are the clear, aesthetic alternative to conventional braces. The invisalign system uses multiple customised sets of clear trays to move teeth into alignment.

Each set of trays are worn for 2 weeks, 22 hours a day, and removed only for eating and drinking. By progressing through your set of customised invisible aligners, your teeth continue to move and straighten into position.

Straightening your teeth can make a significant difference to you having a healthier mouth and keeping your teeth for life. Teeth not properly aligned in your mouth can lead to gum (periodontal) disease and create abnormal amounts of stress on teeth and jaws, which leads to premature wear.

Be assured, with Invisalign you are not only improving the look of your teeth; you are also improving the long-term life and health of your teeth. All important steps in maintaining your long-term dental health and appearance.

IS INVISALIGN RIGHT FOR YOU?

There are many reasons to consider Invisalign as an orthodontic treatment option;

  • Clear aligners are virtually invisible, made of thin, discrete plastic
  • Aligners are easy to remove, making oral hygiene maintenance a breeze.
  • Greater comfort as the trays are only 1mm thick, smoother and less obtrusive compared to conventional braces.
  • No need for regular adjustments like with conventional braces, with Invisalign you simply move up to the next aligner in the series.
  • You can view your own virtual treatment plan before you start, by watching your 3D tooth movement video.

WHAT IS INVISALIGN BEST FOR?

Invisalign can be used to treat;

  • Overcrowding of your teeth
  • Teeth spacing between your teeth
  • Protruding teeth (buck teeth)
  • Bite misalignment
  • Overbite correction
  • Non-central alignment of your front teeth (midline shift)

Depending on your particular case, Dr Benic and Dr Marinho can determine if the Invisalign treatment programme is appropriate for you as Invisalign is best used for mild to moderate corrections.

The Invisalign cost for most cases ranges from $7500 to $8500. This fee includes upper and lower jaw treatment. Doing a single jaw treatment doesn’t make a difference to the cost due to Invisalign’s set lab fee.
