ABOUT

Dr Dale Benic is a dentist and director of Tooth Fairy Dental.

Dale moved from Wellington to the Bay of Plenty joining the Tooth Fairy Dental Centre in 2012, and bringing with him several years’ of experience in cosmetic and general dentistry. After contracting to Tooth Fairy Dental for 4 years, Dale and his colleague Dr Joy Dawson became proud owners Tooth Fairy Dental.

Dale has a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago and he has completed a number of advanced courses, which further enhance his knowledge and skills. In his most recent professional development 4 year cycle, Dale exceeded 150 hours of post-graduate training on advanced topics which included Invisalign tooth alignment, restoration and placement of dental implants, wisdom tooth removal, root canal therapies and dental ceramic veneers and crowns. Dale has also completed the 2 year Progressive Orthodontic Course in Sydney and Implant Placement Surgical Course in Auckland. Dale utilises 3D digital technology to be able to offer most accurate dental procedures.

Dale is dedicated to delivering an excellent standard of dental care and to ensuring patient comfort. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, which range from routine dental treatment to relief of acute conditions, through to providing high quality cosmetic procedures.

Dale was an officer in the New Zealand Army Territorials, commissioned in 2005. In 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 he was a member of the dental teams that traveled to remote parts of the Pacific Islands, where he helped to provide dental aid to the local populations.

Since moving to the Bay of Plenty with his wife Victoria, Dale has enjoyed taking advantage of the many sporting activities on offer.  Dale’s hobbies include golf, tennis, hockey with the Mount Maunganui Mavericks, twilight cricket and surfing. Dale and Victoria are also kept busy with their 2 young children.
