Kerrie started her dental career as an assistant at the age of 18. She discovered she was passionate about oral health and working with people whilst working for an Orthodontist in Lower Hutt. After four years there she made the move down to Dunedin to study firstly a Diploma in Dental Therapy and then an Oral Health Degree graduating in 2009.

On graduating Kerrie was offered a bonding scholarship to work in South Auckland with the School Dental Service and jumped at the chance to work in one of our most in need communities, it was a truly eye opening, challenging  and rewarding experience for her working with children and their families. She continued to work there and in private practice in Auckland CBD for the next 9 years. During this time she improved her skills and knowledge and was a well respected member of the teams she worked with.

Kerrie and her partner Dave decided during 2018 that Auckland was not the right place for them to raise their two young daughters so they made the decision to move, and the Bay of Plenty become their new home. Within a few weeks it felt like home and they are loving the extra time they have to enjoy walks, bike rides and the beach.

Kerrie was a member of Ngā Mokai o Ngā Whetu (Māori Dental Students Association) whilst studying at Otago University and is currently a member of Te Ao Marama ( Māori Dental Association of NZ ) and NZDOHTA (New Zealand Dental Oral Health Therapists Association).

Kerrie attends conferences and CPD events regularly and takes great pride n ensuring her knowledge and skills are as current as possible.

Kerrie is passionate about oral health and helping her patients have the best mouths they can. Her aim is to treat everyone the way she would like to be treated and ensure every patient leaves her feeling listened to, cared for, informed and most of all wanting to come back.
